As we learned last week, Mary, upon learning of her pregnancy is terrified. What will happen to her? Will she be put death? Will her family and fiancé reject her. Will she find herself alone to raise a child as an outcast?

Marry immediately begins her journey to visit her cousin Elizabeth who lives about 70 miles from Mary’s home town of Nazareth. The trip will take her about nine days to complete. She has learned that Elizabeth as well is pregnant in an unnatural way and is compelled to share her news with someone who might understand and guide her.

Upon arriving the two women share their stories and bless each other. They both come to realize that their own stories are part of a much larger cosmic story that is playing out through their own lives.
